My works are windows into vulnerable headspaces focusing on themes such as coping mechanisms, anxieties over unknowns, lingering traumas, and harkening on decisions made. Through an amalgamation of purposeful details and symbols, I tell nuanced and complex narratives. Each exchange depicted, placement of a body, and object in a figure's possession compounds and presents a carefully crafted memory slowly revealed upon considerate exploration. I want my art to be considered an act of mutuality, a reassurance that we are not alone and more connected than we think. I aim to capture a fragment of the human condition's complexity by examining my own.
