During the Pandemic I moved to Vancouver BC. I had a small basement apartment a few blocks up from the Ocean. It was dark when I arrived but I could tell my new home was on a hill looking down at the ocean. I was very anxious to go explore, however due to safety measures I had to quarantine for two weeks. There were no views from my apartment and I was not allowed to leave. It was
a challenging time.
The day my quarantine ended I awoke to a snow storm! I rushed outside to the beach and spent the day exploring my new home. Those few years I spentliving in BC were filled with new experiences, and opportunities and these drawings mark the beginning of that era of discovery and change for myself and my work.
