Tenebrism reveals a space between the physical and the spiritual, where objects and human forms become mystically charged metaphors and symbols. Symbols of tragic flaw and of Grace, metaphors for transience and transcendence; the universal manifested in the individual...In me. These drawings are contemplation on my own spirituality and my own human nature; a form of personal confession.
